Responsibilities


Acts as the Project Management Officer for D&IT Data:



-Ensures projects are managed following the internal and external business rules: cost follow-up, gate approval process, risk management…


-Works with the different Product Owners to build the Project Portfolio and Roadmap, using the common Project Portfolio Management Tool.


-Proposes and implement changes in the different Project Management tools to ensure data consistency between systems, especially at cost level.


-Organizes and animate project progress reviews with the project managers.


-Organizes and animate the monthly Project Steering Committee.


 

Manage the Business As Usual activities, with the support of our main IT service provider:



-Monitors daily data loads.


-Reviews staffing and costs.


-Develops business-oriented dashboards on IT service levels.


-Supports the scope extension of BAU activities as projects become mature.

 


Ensures that IT activities within Digital & IT Data comply with internal and external rules:



-Coordinates and fulfils requests from internal and external auditors (e.g. SOX audits).


-Defines the roadmap and leads the implementation/extension of SOX IT rules to the entire D&IT Data scope (whenever relevant and needed).


-Monitors and follows-up corrective actions whenever needed.


-Ensures retrospective of audits with the relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.


 

Interaction with:



-Product Owners / Business Owners / Project Managers with regards to the status of the different projects but also the project management governance.


-IT stakeholders (IT management committee, IT leaders, architects, functional analysts, etc.) to communicate at all stages on governance requirements (be it project, cost or compliance oriented).


-Internal and external auditors, as part of the compliance requirements.


-Internal or external maintenance team, within the framework of the bodies defined by the chosen methodology.


-Solution Providers and External Service Providers (traditional, subcontractors), within the framework of the bodies defined by the chosen methodology.


-Peers, to exchange good practices.


 


 

 


Profile



·Min 3 years experience


·Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance or Operations management.


·Knowledge of “Agile” methodologies


·Excellent communication skills, understanding of steel industry.


·Project and change management skills


·Methodical organized & pragmatic


·Strong customer-oriented mindset


·Experience in audit management


·Fluent in English. Any other European language is appreciated.
